Our youngest cougars followed the engineering design process to think about a problem, brainstorm ideas to solve it, build a model, test the model and reflect on how they could make it even better. Students worked with a small group to complete this task and I'm excited to share that many of their models were successful at moving the rocks up the ramp by pushing or pulling! They were also able to decorate our models with feathers, poms, pipe cleaners and crayons so they could put the arts in STEAM! Their designs were very beautiful and creative! | |

AuthorThis is my tenth year teaching and my second with Ann Arbor Public Schools. I spent the first eight years of my teaching career as a K-8 technology teacher. I joined AAPS last year as a Media Specialist and I am thrilled to be a part of PLTW this year! In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, baking and spending time with family and friends! Archives
